Balvinder Sahni, chairman and owner of the Raj Sahni Group (RSG Group of Companies), has built up a business empire and expanded his reach far and wide in the UAE through determination and hard work, contributing to the growth of Dubai and the UAE as a whole.

After moving to Dubai in 1996, Balvinder started investing in real estate before closing down his own company in 2006. A three-building apartment complex known as Qasr Sabah, and a 24-story residential building with 230 units, Burj Sabah, are among the major projects his company has completed in the United Arab Emirates.

To complete Qasr Sabah, RSG Group invested $123 million. Also, the RSG Group has entered into the hospitality sector by building a five-star hotel with more than 570 rooms in Sufouh Gardens, known as the Sabah Rotana, and a four-star hotel with more than 570 rooms in Jebel Ali Zone 1 known as the Jebel Ali Central Rotana.

A founding member and chairman of RSG Group of Companies, Balvinder Sahni, has devoted his influence to the health and social welfare of his community. A large old age home was built in 2004 in Pingalwara, in Amritsar district, India, in memory of Balvinder Sahni’s late father, Amrik Singh, and a tuberculosis hospital was built in 2007 in honour of Harbans Kaur Sahni’s late mother. The biggest deaf and dumb hospital in India was built by him as well.
